The Diputació de Barcelona has just published
a document on an analysis of the main determinants of health related to housing, based on a review of the scientific literature published last year.
In this publication, there is a transversal approach, covering quite different aspects of equality, cost-benefit models, and also the context of the current pandemic. It is in line with the guidelines established by the WHO Health document on all policies, and the objectives of sustainable development consistent with the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations.
The promoters of the document indicate that the document constitutes a base for which technicians and managers can contribute to the implementation of the housing policies of the municipalities incorporating health aspects, promoting the need to intervene in the housing estate in poor condition
of conservation and also to establish parameters of construction dobra nova healthy.
